ABOUT
FEVERDREAMS
FEVERDREAMS are an extreme visualization from the subconscious, often taking form in moments of sickness or sleep deprivation. Often bizarre, the fever dream comes in our weakest moments. Fever dreams are unknown, yet lead to dramatic discoveries about our psyche, and the state of our mind’s well being. Spatial distortion, moments of dramatic discovery, and deep rest are common.
FEVERDREAMS takes the readers through a collection of Kendall’s work never seen in this scope before. The project take viewers on a visual journey of rapid self discovery over the course of a Ulysses-style, stream-of-consciousness “dream day” - though, in actuality, the project takes readers through 7 years of the artist's work.
Hill’s FEVERDREAMS is an ode to a fading youth, creating a physical space where we can experience those memories - in the guiding texts and collages throughout the project, but also, the book itself.
